    Of course a .429 pin wouldn’t go in the bore. That’s a groove diameter sized pin, and you’d need bore diameter sized. I think .423-.424 would be right.

    Most expanders have 2 steps, one that bells case mouth, the other is a stop. If you don't set the die up properly you get over expansion. RCBS just has a curve and again, if die is not set properly, over expanded. You should be able to sense when you get to the 1st step, go just a tad more and done. 'Finger tip' measurement should indicate a properly expanded case mouth. Unless you trim, all cases probably not same length.
