Lots of people come to think that some component of what makes us up passes in and out of this physical existence for more than just one single life.
Some children recall information they just shouldn't know. Some people do past life regressions through hypnosis and it gets spooky.
One of my uncles knew how he had died before, someone putting the sneak on him while he dozed by the camp fire and bashing him with a rock.
Any of you fellas ever experienced such or known someone that did?

I don't believe individual souls are reincarnated but there may be some kind of unconscious memory that passes down through the generations. The brain is still a mystery and much of its function is unknown.

I've personally only had one weird dejavu experience. Back in my mid-20's (I'm 63 now), my wife and I were visiting a Renaissance armor exhibit in Houston, where a great deal of European plate armor was on view from a traveling collection based in Vienna. The museum gave out little cassette recorders with headphones that guided each person through the show. I was most of the way through the tour when I came upon a group of about 20 human skeletons that were clothed in basic footman's armor and carrying pikes. I slowly walked around the figures, starting in the front. When I got to the back of the display and looked forward as the soldiers would have done, I saw a flash in my mind's eye of a large green field with a blue lake to one side and another army in the distance. The skeletons had changed into men with arms and I was in their group looking at the opposing force. It was a bright sunny day; all of the arms and armor were polished and glittering. The vision was so vivid that I jumped back and the view went back to normal. I stepped back into the same position and the picture returned, although it was much diminished with no color. I tried it a third time and nothing appeared. I tried once more before we left the museum but still zilch.

I told my wife about it and she didn't actually call me crazy or a liar but looked at me sideways since we'd only been married a few years at that time. I don't know what happened but I'll swear on a stack of bibles that I saw it. Another tidbit is that half of my family is traceable to Denmark back to about 1000 AD - makes me wonder if one of my ancestors was part of a medieval army or battle.

I have never had a similar experience - either before or since.

There's no way I could believe in reincarnation but there has to be a spiritual answer for people who have some very odd "memories".

I'm a Christian. I believe in the all powerful God of the Bible and his angels; I also believe in a strong but not all powerful Satan and his demons.

I believe that unseen spiritual beings are constantly working for and against us. Satan seeks to possess us and his evil minions are powerful but not all powerful so it's unlikely that every person with an odd spiritual "memory" is demonically possessed. But a lot of really bad people are, including the likes of Shirley McClain and George Soros.

I can see uncontrolled people may be exposed to vivid memories of various demons. Demons actively seeking new hosts may bring their own memories to the new people they try to control and, if so, that's what is being "remembered." (Demons do try to take over - possess - their victims but, by the grace of God, it seems they rarely succeed.)

Denise is a big lifetime channel fan, they have a show about kids that remember past lives. watch some of those and you be the judge. there were a couple of those shows that just about left our jaws hanging open. one story that sticks in my mind is this young girl would tell her mother about how the Indians killed her family and took her hostage and traded her to another tribe that didn't abuse her and she cared for the younger children. turns out that there was a book written about the experience back in the 1800's and there is no way this child could have known about this. ill bet a search of youtube will show some of these programs, you judge for yourself.

Looks to me as though Hebrews 9 tells us the straight of it, that we get one go at this.

We have some awesome signals receiving and processing capabilities that our creator built into us. I think some people pick up signals from right now, last week, next week, last century and millennia ago. Doesn't mean you lived before. Just means that in effect you got a quick look over the fence while passing a drive-in movie.

I do not believe in reincarnation, but I have had to many credible people sit in my office and tell me of some experiences that cannot be explained to rule anything out. There are other spiritual dimensions out there and sometimes there is a bleed through that just can't be explained.

If it's possible that all the sons of God shouted for Joy at Jesus's birth did select other spirits of God witness events prior to their birth. Yes there is a veil of forgetfulness but some seem to see through that easier than others.

Whether a person receiving information through no initiative of their own is demonic or not, actively seeking to engage in otherworldly endeavors is a pretty good way to hurt yourself.

Yes, there is a spiritual world. Saul used a medium to try to call up Samuel. Was it really Samuel? I'm inclined to think not. Who really knows what's possible in the spiritual world? I don't know that I want to, yet.

I believe there are two realms of supernatural spirits. One from God and one from Satan.
As I understand it Lucifer had authority over light and he and his demons witness the world. Satan can therefore tell someone what has happened in the past but not the future. His ability with light leads some to see things in the dark that people interperate as UFO's.
Satan with his powers can pass along accurate events that have happened in the past. But he also can predict future events based on current knowledge. After a soothsayer tells you accurate events of the past you are more inclined to believe his future predictions.
Also if your uncle in Cleveland is looking to buy a new truck and has expressed to the dealership that his favorite color as light blue. You talk to a pyschic and she predicts your uncle will show up in a light blue truck, that is information known in the underworld.
I believe demons have the power to implant things into your mind to the point of a person committing crimes or relay some event of the past.
If the devil can get you to doubt God or get you to commit a crime he has done his job.
