I use Imgur.com and have lots of easy success with that. Like this...

I click on the "Insert Image" icon in the quick reply and download pics straight from my computer.

Reset the phones default picture size down to 800x800 or 6"x4" or 320000 bytes max.

I use imgur as well, but I also have an app (photo compress, android) that shrinks pics I want to load directly. I like higher resolution for photos, so I can crop and keep them sharp, so I resize or compress after I take the pic. But after awhile you will run out of space here, so you will have to delete older ones or switch to imgur or another service.

There’s a free program for Windows users called Irfanview that is a great image viewer. It also does slideshows, cropping, color rebalancing, lightening/darkening and resizing of images. I’ve been using Irfanview for about 25 years without problems,no advertising, they don’t ask for your email address. https://www.irfanview.com/

If you have a smart phone. I use an app called Tapatalk. Sync it with the forum. Then its easy to post photos. It resizes it and does all the fancy code. No need to mess with imgur or codes.

Great app if you are active in forums. When you guys post, i get a notification if I have subscribed to the subject.

    I use www.postimage.org
It gives you a URL depending on where the pic will be used.

I'll have to try some of these, I haven't been able to post a picture for couple years now.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

I still can't post pics from my computer. Waksupi seems to have the same problem and I suspect that some of the others who have problems posting pics have the same issue.

The problem seems to have started when the server was updated two years ago. I don't know of anything else that has changed.

I've tried a number of hosting sites with unsatisfactory results and see no reason to depend on someone whose rules are constantly changing to take care of my precious photos when I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself.

The process of posting pics from my computer is not a problem. I've done it successfully many times in the past, but can't do it now.

Can we please get some help with this issue?

    Thank you
    Jerry

I too, have issues with posting pics now. I used to be able to post them from my 'puter but now the only option I get requires a URL, which I don't have.

Hmm i never had an issue. I use the small or medium pictures (have to premo to post large). Think I have to add them one at a time then hit send. If i try to select a bunch and upload it doesnt like me.

Something else is happening (at least for me). I just posted in the test area. I had to post 1 at a time. First 2 were around 400k size, the next 2 were over 1mb. All 4 were uploaded from my computer using the insert image icon we see in the message construction box.

I have had to use other programs in the past because every attempt did not work.

I also tried to load a video with the video icon, did not work. I will try loading smaller video versions another time.
