Okay,
I'm officially part of the C.R.A.F.T. Club.
Can't remember the Colt factory spring weight for the Gold Cup or Gov't models. Searched/Looked, but can't seem to find it here either.
Would someone be kind enough to re-education me, Please ?

Govt' model uses 16# Gold Cups up to 2 # lighter for wadcutters. 16# for hardball GW
I looked at the Gunsprings.com site. They showed a weight of 16lb as the standard weight for Colt 1911 and Gold cup.
