Anyone here done a widdermaker build out of their .45 caliber 1894. Would like to try one on mine. I have a spare lifter to mess up.. I mean modify.

OK, I'll bite, what's a Widdermaker? GF
It’s a Marlin 1894 rifle cowboy action shooting modification to the lifter that allows the ‘94 to feed a wide variety of .45 case lengths. It was developed by a cowboy whose alias was Widdermaker. My two 1894s will run 45colt and 45 Schofield but nothing shorter. Looking for someone who’s done it to their rifle.
There is a fella here in WV who does 1873 conversions to 45 acp....might google it and ask him
Are you talking about Cody Conagher at the Cowboy Shop? A nice guy, I’ve shot with him years ago. I’ll send him an email. He does something called a Codymatic mod to 1866 and 1873 ubertis that make them super fast. I’ve cycled one of them but never shot one.
Yes thats his name! I knew it was something catchy
