    Anyone fired a 1865 Trapdoor 1st Allin RIM-FIRE

    Howdy
    Anyone have hands on experience with one of these 1st Trapdoors ?
    We have purchased one and are gathering info to have a basis to start with next trip up north

    This may give you some additional data. I have owned several Springfield conversions, made by Bannermans, but not an Allin RF trap door.

    We have had the other models up to the 84 for years. Finally decided not to let a little thing like Rim-fire slow us down on the 1st Model. Have an early Peabody in 56-56 so got some experience making rim-fire brass. Mostly time consuming.
