    350 legend light loads

I've got a Ruger american in 350 legend. I'm looking for some very light loads, can 124gr or 147gr pistol bullets be used with unique? I want loads to just short range plink, and let the grand kids shoot "grand pa's big gun". Thanks in advance. lost...

Surely someone has experimented with this by now. Although search didn't turn anything up.

You could look at light loads in the 357 Maximum and use those.

I have loaded 158 gr BBFN's (no GC) with 6 gr of Red Dot for a velocity around 1,250 fps. (22" Rem M SEVEN) I load the same 158 gr in my 350 Rem Mag's with 8.5 gr Red Dot or E3 it is about 1,300 -1,350 ish. Both are lubed with LAR's BAC.

The 6 gr load is pretty quiet in my 22" bbl --- I have not shot these loads in a shorter 350 Legend but would expect the report to be similar. Less report than a 4" 38 SPL but with more crack.
