I stayed in hibernation away from the virus curse. Watched the Titans play one of their worst games and get what that earns. RATS!

ioon44, her 28th? My boss has a shirt that reads "Today is my 29th Birthday. I was 29 last year, and I'll be 29 again next year." I know what to give her on this day - chocolate. Once I bought her a sweat shirt with a picture of a Teddy Bear holding up one paw rolled into a fist. The caption reads - "Just show me the chocolate and nobody will get hurt." We still wears that sweat shirt often enough to remind me what she likes.

Busy time of year for shooting here. Yesterday was military matches. In two weeks, sporting rifle, and muzzle loading. I'll have at least ten shoots in by the end of March.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

I did the same sort of stuff I do during the week. That’s what happens when you are retired.

All I was thinking this weekend was that hunting is still far away and I will be able to take a vacation only by the end of spring.

    Hi...
My son and I went to a gun show on Saturday.
Didn't see much that interested me.
Stopped at a gun shop on the way home. Apparently they bought somebody's estate. More revolvers and used rifles and shotguns than I have seen in a shop in a year or more...extremely high prices. Nearly $800 for a used new model Ruger BlackHawk .357. That seems excessive to me.
