Looking for the heaviest bullet , with the widest flat point, that has proved itself to be reliable in a glock 20, tell me what you've tried!

Seems that most people don't go past the 220gr weight in the 10mm.

For me i've settled on the 200gr WFN. I bought the mould from NOE and load them over a near max charge of Blue Dot. They do 1250fps from my Kimber 1911. Haven't ran them across the chronograph in my Glock 40 or my 10mm AR pistol.

The Sectional Density is the same as a 210 .41 Magnum and out of a 4" revolver the same velocity.

Functioning has been flawless out of Glock 20, 29 and 40, Kimber Longsilde and Stainless Target II, RIA 4.25" and a PARA Elite LS Hunter...

One can also make HPs and PentaPoints with the mold.

You can get WAY more than that from a 41 magnum revolver. You can get a 290 grain to that speed in a 41 magnum. The 357 magnum is a ballistic twin to the 10mm auto. The following 220 grain bullets are 41 magnum left, 357 magnum right. The 357 magnum does 1200 fps from a revolver. That's not to say it is weak at all, but the 10mm auto is not some super magnum. It's not really that much more than 45 acp. That said, 200-220 gr is a great range for maximizing performance in both 357 magnum and 10mm auto. I can not help with a Glock specifically, since I've only shot a Sig 220.

100% agree with that...the .41 Magnum has WAY more potential.

All I am saying is that with "standard" 210 grain Factory loads from Remington and Federal the average velocity from a 4" barrel is 1250 fps...basically the same as many 10mm 200 grain loads shot from a 5" 1911.

We switched over from our 5" S&W model 29 in .44mag with 300gr. LBTs to a 10mm with 200gr. WFN GC boolits from Montana bullet Co. mainly due to the beating the .44 load gave our wrists and elbows. Quite frankly, we just couldn't take the recoil anymore at our age. Found we could better place hits on target quickly and accurately with the 10mm/200gr. combo. than with the old 29. The 10mm/200gr hard cast is a very popular wilderness round in both ID and Alaska. It aint a .41 or .44, or bigger, but it is more manageable by many folks. Can't help with the Glock as we shoot 10mm from a Guncrafter 1911.

I cast a LBT 220 gr. WFN with a gas check and they shoot great in my regular G20 and my G20 long slide with a KKM barrel. I also shoot a lot of 200 gr. WFN bullets cast in a NOE mould with zero issues. I don't think you should have issues with most bullets you try.
