keep on rolling along.no matter what happens just keep rolling
I use 1/25 tin/pure for my HP cast boolits. It expands very well.
I use 1 to 30 tin-lead from Roto Metals for my revolver HPs and for .44-40 rifle.
The ENEMY is listening.
HE wants to know what YOU know.
Keep it to yourself.
The softer they are, the more they'll expand at lower speeds than a hard alloy.

OK People. Enough of this idle chit-chat.
This ain't your Grandma's sewing circle.
EVERYONE!
Back to your oars. The Captain wants to waterski.
My .44 magnum deer load is 50/50 WW's and pure lead with tin added. I shoot a 245 grain HP boolit.

20;1, 25:1, 30:1, excellent from 800-1250 fps (I haven’t gone higher)
Good luck
Keep 'em on the soft side for good expansion. I cast HP's in 9mm, 38, 44, and 45 and generally use 7-9 hardness +PC (of course!). And don't try to blow the doors off with high-speed loads as many seem to try for. A good heavy 44 slug at lower velocities will do the trick with HP's.
Save your hot loads (and your body joints!) for Dirty Harry action!
