    Meatloaf Has Left The Building

Those of us that grew up in the 70's and 80's had Meatloaf as one of the soundtracks of our days in High School. Album Rock has gone the way of the Dodo but Meatloaf's voice will live on. He is one of the few that when he stepped on stage he gave everything he had every time. There was nothing left when he walked off. Legend is thrown around too easily I think but here we have it in spades.

Still remember the first time I heard "Paradise". Might have to break out my "Bat out of Hell" album

I regret never seeing him in concert. What a powerful voice. A multimillion selling force of nature.

I never realized it was him in Fight Club until they showed a short clip in a tribute, Bob was a memorable character. As a kid the Bat out of Hell album cover artwork was amazing. He was a good one, quite a performer. Paradise was an amazing song as a kid, still good....as an adult, Anything for Love was my favorite. RIP Meat.
Take a kid to the range, you'll both be glad you did.

I am not of the Meatloaf generation so my trauma level is quite low. I do have sympathy for the family and friends for anybody that passes away.
