I have an extremely nice, very early Feinwerkbau 300S Universal Springer in .177 caliber.
If you don't know about these amazing quality pellet rifles, please look them up and learn how incredible the quality is on these.
This gun looks to be made in 1981, and is the early import to Beeman's in San Rafael, California, and is of course made in Germany. Many collectors of these rifles believe the San Rafael guns to be the best of the best of these Feinwerkbau air springers.
These have a reputation as the tack-drivers of springer target-grade air rifles. This thing is built like a tank and feels like quality everywhere. The trigger can be tuned to the nth-degree, and the recoil is controlled by a spring loaded sled system where the whole action comes backwards upon firing and you don't feel the weird spring recoil at all.
There isn't a scratch or a single flaw in the deep blued metalwork, and only a few very small imperfections in the wood. As you can see by the pictures, it is a true beauty.
I have seen several of these in decent condition at 80%+ go for around $650-$800.
I would call this one 95%+ condition. Also, it goes about 530fps, so the seals and such are still in pretty decent shape. Luckily, seal rebuild kits are very affordable (less than $80) and not hard to do, which makes this even more uncommon, as some of these air rifles are very tough to freshen up or replace seals in.
This one includes the matching original manual and test target, as well as all the paperwork and the original receipt from 1982 when the rifle was purchased. It also includes sight inserts, a good rubber rear sight hood, different grip cap and buttpad spacer.
