Need source for custom (?) mold for a 526 round ball....any sources?

Hopefully someone knows a source for a round ball mold that throws a 526 ball....my muzzleloader likes these best and I can't seem to find a mold anywhere....

    Ideas?

    Thanks!

as far as I know - 45workhorse probably has the best suggestion.

I was looking for a specific size HB conical mold for a specific project which lead me to, I believe, Moose Molds? You might try doing some searches for that - at the time, they made a number of odd size RB molds IIRC - but it has been a while and I have no idea if they are still in existence or if they are still making RB molds.

Keep and eye on Ebay, or order from Tanner Molds.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Other than the already mentioned JT ball molds, you can order a .526" from Marty's arms, which is a 5 cavity. Unfortunately they have gone way up in price, and even with the Bubbarountree discount code is $117.

Keep a eye on ebay, I bought my .526 Lyman there 10 years ago.

Lee Precision will make custom molds the last time I checked. Send them an email to confirm as it has been a long while.
