    Meepos Speedlube

Been a while since I've seen ~Meepos~ cross my screen in this forum and since I have this webpage about it figured I'd post the link for them who've never seen one.

    http://dutchman.rebooty.com/meepos_speedlube.html

I've never used this thing! But I know it inside and out. I think I might have made a longer rod on the top for more leverage. Its just 3/8" cold rolled with a lathe turned oak handle.

And if Swedish Mausers are your thing like they're my thing.... http://dutchman.rebooty.com/

That is neat. Never seen one or heard of one.

You did a great job restoring it!

I discovered the Meepos lube pump several years ago and actually had a search and notify entry on eBay looking for one. To my uneducated eye it looked like a Star and the ones I saw being sold seemed to bring less than the better known one from Star.

When I discussed this on this and the ARTCA Forum, I was quickly informed that it was slower and more complicated to use and advised to save up some more shekels and get the Star… so I did! The fact of the matter is, I just use one of my Ideal #1 or Lyman 450 Lubri-Sizers and still haven’t used a Star other than the one owned by Dale53 (under his watchful eye!)

All of that being said, I’d be interested to hear from the Dutchman about how it works for him when he does use it. I hope he shows me to be wrong, because when the do show up, the Meepos units are usually priced quite reasonably.

Picked one up a few years ago ..
Forgot the name of the individual that made another top handle for me ..
Would have to go back in time in my threads to chase him down.

Lathesmith , a sponsor on the forums here made a 452 sizer for me also
out of a bolt , did a very nice job .
It is operational with Ben's red in it and it takes a bit of using to get to and yes , the star is a bit faster.
The Meepos is among other's in my collection ...
Thank you Dutchman for bringing it up for conversation.

And true Greenfrog ...I still use my Lyman 45's on a regular basis .

It is much easier to fool people ,

I picked up one a couple years back but as I have a Star I haven't done anything but play with it a bit to figure out how it works.

It looks to me like it is a pass through system, so should be faster to use than the Lyman/ RCBS in and out type.
