    Yeah, they both make a comment about how noisy the vacuum is and that’s because it is likely a very powerful one as you are essentially making a brass birds nest out of spoils, every round and that thing has to get it out before it clogs up in the die/manifold. Once that happens you have to stop, take things apart and clear before one can continue.

    I make 300BO with the 1500 trimmer in one pass without issue. I run a Fein vacuum which is very quiet in comparison to shop vac etc. I typically run a decap die to pop the primers. Case feeder makes the job fly.

    Word of advice, buy the dillion carbide trim die for the 300BO conversion. I bought an off brand thinking I was saving $. It lasted for a while and then wore out. Cases wouldn't fit in the case guage. So broke down and bought the carbide one and don't regret it.

    Oof! $695 for the trimmer and die to sit on my Rock Chucker. I’m reminded of the old drag racer’s saw… Speed costs. How fast do you want to go?
