Yes! Scott is one of my perennial subscriptions, and man does he do a good job on stuff like this. No point in looking at any mainstream coverage when they don't know their ***** from their elbows compared to him.
The comments in that video are fascinating - not only are a lot of folks willing to bash the mainstream news coverage in comparison, but there are a bunch of folks who testified about their own volcano experience. To have been heard in Fiji and Anchorage, that must've been a heck of an explosion.
I'm a big fan of data-driven decisions. You want to make me smile, show me a spreadsheet! Extra points for graphs and best-fit predictive equations.
