    Hensley & Gibbs 331

    Hello All,
I'm looking for a ballpark OAL using this bullet in 9mm. Thanks for any comments in advance. Boats

Nice looking bullet! I would start out letting my magazine be my guide. Load one or two dummy rounds and see for sure that they will load and feed from your mag and feed into your chamber. With that long pointy bullet nose, you will be limited as to how you seat the bullet into the case. Too long will be a problem, and you surely don’t want to go any deeper than necessary as interior volume will decrease and pressures will rise.

try 1.10" to start. You may find that you need to shorten the OAL a bit, but I suspect that somewhere between 1.065" and 1.10" you will find your happy place.
