I recently acquired a Remington 512 that I mounted an old receiver sight to. As she is proving to be quite the shooter, I’d like to replace the front sight with a globe sight. The shorter the better.
I have a few Lymans and already have some fine inserts, so something like a 17ahb or 17aml would be fine, but not opposed to others. 3/8” dovetail mount. Please let me know if you have something that would look appropriate on it!

I have a Lee Shaver large diameter globe with a built in level for $85 shipped to you.
You can get a Lyman 17 in several different heights for $50 or less on Amazon.
Thanks guys. As this is an older rifle, I was hoping for one out of the parts drawer that might look the part and save me a couple dollars. Might be harder to find than expected.
Looking in my parts box I found a globe front sight for .22 rifles. It comes
apart for inserting different inserts. marked T 7 HB on bottom. No makers
mark , I think it is a Lyman. $35.00 shipped. PM if interested.
