Fresh Batch of SA-35 High Powers

I've been watching the supply of the new Springfield Armory High Power clones, waiting for the price to get to something reasonable. There were almost none on Gunbroker last week, but suddenly there are over three dozen today. People are still bidding well over MSRP, but I figure that's their problem.
I saw reports of the first guns having extractor problems, I wonder if they got that fixed.

Guy I know has one of the first ones. He said after about 1000 rounds thru the gun, it seemed like powder residue gets around the extractor and causes problems

Don't folks clean their guns anymore? Due somewhere well short of a thousand rounds, I would think.

I have admired the Hi-Power since the 70's. Never could afford one back then, but sure loved the looks of them in magazines. Finally, I got to hold one. Sadly, it just didn't have the right ergonomics for my ham sized hand. Sooooooo, when Springfield Armory announced the release of the SA-35 with 'some' ergonomic changes, I decided I'll wait until I have one in hand first. And, once the prices fall to where they should be.

I've had a Hi-Power as my issued sidearm, but it feels like a 2x4 in my hand, too square at the back for me. While I do appreciate the Hi-Power's history, I'll stick to a CZ75.
