You didn't say which caliber you chose. Every barrel is an individual. What one likes another may or may not like.
I would start with Crosman Premiers like you find at any Wal mart. If you're lucky it will shoot these really well.
I would stay away from the pricier what I call "gimmick" pellets. The ones with a plastic skirt or ballistic tip. And any
of the non lead pellets.
Take a close look at JSB, H&N and FX you can find them on line most of the time, some suppliers are sold out on some weights and sizes
Try airgun depot, pyramid air airguns of Arizona

Try asking at Gateway to Airguns. I have received some good advice there.
I do not shoot .25 so cannot help.

stay away from Vortex pellets . Horrible Looks like the pellets are thrown across a 40 ft room into a metal bucket.
JSB and FX are typically very good, H&N as well. It will come down to how they are packed and shipped.
I would suggest NOT purchasing pellets from Midway or Amazon their pellet packaging sucks
the 3 suppliers above are good also check out Utah Air

and depending on the day I might just step over that line !!!
JSB king Domed 25.43 grain .25 caliber are a standard that most guns shoot well.
Never fired any in a gauntlet, but they work in a marauder I once had, and currently they shoot well in a matador.
To lazy to chase arrows.

I have one of the original type of Gauntlets from a few years ago. After a few light mods I found that I didn't need to spend more money on more expensive pellet brands to get it to shoot accurately.
I've even shot some of my DIY pellets out of it with good success but admittedly, my DIY pellets are at their best within thirty yards.
I generally shoot the Crossman Premier 13 grainers. The domed versions and the HP versions shoot about the same in my gun. With these less expensive pellets I can keep the feral pigeon population at bay out to sixty and even seventy yards away.
