    11mm Murata rim

My first attempt at making the double rim for the 11mm Murata.
    348 case, brass stock, solder.
Did it on my drill press because I didn't want to dig out the lathe.
Now that it looks like it might work, next one will be done on the lathe.
I'll take some pictures of how I did it with the next go.

Looks good. How did you do the soldering? Are you loading black powder? Donnelly’s book suggests that the annealing of the cartridge head from the heat of soldering only makes this safe for black powder loads.

Have black powder, but don't plan on using it in this one.
To much trouble for the owner.
Planing on using a very light load of fast burn powder.
    Blue dot, 4227, maybe 4198.
Now have to figure out the shell holder.

Looks like you're headed in the right direction. I'm not familiar with that case, is the base like the Mauser A-base? Have you considered Loctite instead of solder? No problem with heat and the hold is amazing.
BIG OR SMALL I LIKE THEM ALL, 577 TO 22 HORNET.

I was thinking of Loctite, epoxy, anything else, but didn't think it would hold up with cleaning.
The rim is a little thick, so going to make another using thinner stock.
Don't plan on making many, maybe 40 of them.
