Our new addition

On 12-21-21 my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. We are more then overjoyed with the addition to our family as this is our first. But the joy was short lived as my wife started having complications right after. She was loosing blood after the delivery and thy could not stop it. Thy eventually got it stopped and she had lost over 2L. She was very anemic which she was taking medication for to get her blood back up. Then one night she tested her blood pressure and it was very high. We ran to the emergency room and she was diagnosed with preeclampsia which can be fatale if not treated for. Then last week she started noticing and very hard lump on her left side. That quickly started to hurt and grow. Thy prescribed an antibiotic but after 3 days it did not help. So Sunday we took her to the emergency room because it was the size of a base ball and she had a temp of 101. The instantly admitted her and put her on an antibiotic IV. She will be there all week as thy take care of the infection. So I am home all alone taking care of our new son and today I’m going to go in and stay with her for the rest of the week. Sorry for bringing this here I just needed to kinda let it out.

Kt iy wife bit tat there ar a kit if fits int there thinking of her and who have her in their prayers. Please keep us postedd on how all of you all are doing and don't be afraid to let the hospital know if you need someone to talk to.You are worried about you wife, your wife is worried about you and the baby . . .a lot on your plates and sometimes it just helps to have someone to talk with . the hospital can arranged for a Pastor to see you if for nothing mire tha someone to talk with to unwind a little Good luck and God Bless you all.

That said,, as many have offered,, congrats on your new son. And of course,, prayers up for your wife to fully recover.

You are not alone in having to face struggles of such depth. Many here,, and in other places also are facing ups & downs. I have a story from Christmas Day that could give a lot of folks a serious case of heartache,, but this isn't the place. We want to focus on YOUR wife,, and YOUR son,, and YOU as well!

I will say,, trust in God. No matter what,, trust in Him.
