Looking for a good straight wall tent…

The king that I can put a good stove in and leave up for months at a time. Anyone have any suggestions on good ones? I really need at least a 10’x10’ but can easily go as large as 14’x24’.

    Any suggestions appreciated!

    Thanks!

its not a straight wall but I have a friend that needs to sell a 20 foot teepee with liner, she is in upper wyoming. might be more durable in snow than a tent.

its not currently set up, her husband just passed away and she is selling stuff to help with expenses. she is in the upper north east corner. it is a commercial made one and looks like good quality, might even be bigger than 20 foot. the liner makes it much warmer inside than a tent and I suppose you could run a stove pipe right out the top.

I have even seen teepees with chimneys run out. Hardened leather or something? I would think I can fire pit or something. Any pics or cost?

Let me know what you know!

I went back and looked, its actually a 24 foot teepee. the shell is canvas and the liner is regular material type. pm me your phone number and email and I will pass it on to her. a couple of the poles need replaced she said but you can pick up corral poles at a farm supply that will work, she is asking like 1200 for it. they used it to do re-enactments from colonial days

Alaska tent and tarp sells all sizes of traditional wall tents and modern tents. As long as shipping isn’t too expensive, I’m sure they can provide you with whatever you want.

These guys make a first class tent. We have purchased 3 from the 2- 14x16s and a 16x20. They are now 18 years old and have been used every elk season for 10 days each season. They show their age (white tents collect dirt) but will outlast our group.

I don’t know if you are aware of this, but we often would build a wooden frame for wall tents that were in a permanent location. The canvas tent was usually removed and stored for winter. The frame is built on top of a floor and the entire tent is raised up about two feet. The sides of the tent don’t touch the ground, so something is added to seal the sides. Wood or often just plastic sheeting stapled in place. This gives more headroom and a solid floor off the ground, which makes a big difference if you will be spending a lot of time in it.
