    Boolits

    I mean really,
is there anything better looking than a shinny piece of brass with a lead boolit on top?
I just made some 444 Marlin ammo and after hand lubing boolits stuck a 315 gr

Well, the big buffalo cartridges with a cast boolit the size of your thumb do have a certain appeal.

The 30, 35, 40, 44, & 45 with a WFN all have a special beauty to me. Especially when they put the meat right next to the mashed potatoes & gravy or french fries.

I like the look of my 45/70 rounds when I PC them with bright red. They remind me of women’s lipsticks.

First and foremost, I am NOT criticizing P/Cing boolits. I think a body needs to do what’s best for them, but, this is why I don’t P/C. I once saw a guy loading up a 44m with shiny new brass with a bright a red boolit and I thought why is he putting lipstick in his revolver. The guys I shoot with would never let me hear the end of it.

you can keep reminding how good it is to pc while they are scaping lead out of their barrels and cleaning the lube off their reloading equipment

I've never had that problem with PC'd bullets.

White Eagle, what is the number of the Accurate mold you are using. That might work good out of my 44 mag CVA rifle!

None of us have leading problems. If your groove diameter, cylinder throat and boolit size are right, using a good lube leading will be nonexistent.

I finally ordered a NOE mold for my CZ 527 in 7.62x39 and after doing a ladder test pushing them 2100 fps+, I figured I’d be scraping lead for days. Not a trace from conventional lube, White Label red carnuba. Sized right, good lube, and proper hardness, I assume was the ticket.
