I know some blued ones are solid, but I thought most were pinned. All the stainless ones are pinned. I don't know that I've ever seen a blackhawk without a pinned sight, but now that I think about it, I only deal with stainless ones. Even my Old Army is a stainless, and it is pinned.

Thanks, I bet that's it. I've only owned one stainless BH for a short spell and I couldn't remember.

    I have returned.
So the gp 100 fixed front sight was to low as some stated. But as megasupermagnum said the pinned Blackhawk sight is the correct width and need fitting but it worked. Personally I ground it down to close to the original height of the front sight. But it did work and I can’t express my gratitude to those who have contributed to this thread. This is my first post here and I’ve taken quite a liking to the community.

    Thanks for posting this update
Good to know you got it squared away.

    .
Size/Prime a few cases when starting off with a progressive and put them aside. You can plug them back into the process when a bad/odd case screws up in the priming station and continue loading.
