    Frank Watson in WV

Is anyone familiar with the name of Frank Watson in West Virginia selling surplus powder. I was given a 8 LB. jug of WC846. It gives his name and a WV phone number. The jug also says "use BLC2 data".
I just wanted to verify any info before I started to use it. I live in WV and never heard of the guy.

Richard King used to be the main supplier of surplus powder from WV he had a bunch of bunkers full of de mill surplus supplies. I have loaded a ton of his powders never had a lot number just mil designation and use whatever commercial equivalent powder on the barrel. start low and work up.

Frank Watson was a good fellow. He did a good bit of shooting. Frank had a lot of surplus powder and sold it quite reasonable. Don't know if he is still around.

WC846 was safe to use with BL-C2 data. That doesn't mean that is what is in the container you have. If you trust it, starting data should be easy to see with 223 or 308.

I've used a lot of it in 223 and 308. And used blc-2 data. Just start low and work up.
