Prayer Request for my Mother In Law - Broken Hip

If you are willing and able - Please pray for my Mother in Law Hazel, who fell and broke her hip yesterday evening. Also for Father in Law - Both are 90. At least it was a controlled failure - Happened at their church part with the head of the fire dept. EMT squad. Lots of support from church members, a daughter and son close by in the Idaho panhandle. I think she's in surgery now. We don't know if it's going to be a pin job or total hip. Doc said he wouldn't know until he got a better look. Praying for the best possible outcome. Thanks so much for any prayer you can send up.

Here's a bit of an update - She came through the surgery without problems. They did a partial hip replacement, which is just the Ball and not the Socket. We think she has a pretty good Doc ( Surgeon ). Thank you Lord, and thank all of you for your prayers. We'll see how the next part goes. I will keep the update going when when we have more information.

Another update - Hazel got to go home yesterday evening. She seems to be doing well. Her daughter has her up and walking using a walker. Apparently she can't start Physical Therapy until she see's the Orthopedist - and she can't see the Orthopedist until Jan. 6. Seems a bit of a long wait. My wife is a retired Nurse Practitioner, and she says it's a bit screwy. Anyhow we are grateful for the progress she has been, and is making. Still a ways to go. Her spirits seem good. And we are so grateful for all of your prayers. God is great - And so are all of you. Thank you so much everyone. Tom
