I love how you "doped" your elevation, and were dead on.

I love good shooting 22's, and bolt actions are usually great. I used to trap muskrats, and on some quiet evenings just before dark I could shoot a fair number of them. Shots were usually from 5 to 20 yards, and it had to be a brain shot. One inch back in the neck and the pelt was worth about 20% of full price.

My favorite rifle was a single shot Western Auto Revelation. It would group a scootch over an inch at 100 yards, and could put them through the same hole at 15. Back then my scope was a Weaver K-4.

I love your posts and vids Wolfdog. jd
It seems that people who do almost nothing, often complain loudly when it's time to do it.

If you post some close-up pics of the bbl and action we might recognize the thing.

Wolfdog, that is some great shooting! I like that gong set up. I’m gonna steal that idea, for sure.

As a side note, Remington Thunderbolts get bashed a lot, looks like they are working for you! Keep up the good work, and, I agree, trigger time is crucial for successful shooting skills!
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

That was pretty neat! Mystery rifle or no, it shoots pretty darned well.

+1. When you have a .22 that pegs the fun meter like that, it's worth doing the homework, so you can track down the spare parts and extra mags you'll need to keep it running indefinitely.
