A fun load for plinking is 6.5 grs Unique and the Lee C113.
They eject about two feet away but don't recoil enough to chamber another- so I pull back the handle and let go.
This is @ 40yds with the morning sun in my eyes.
My normal load uses maximum H110/296 book data.

    Excellent info and good shooting!!

I used a similar load in my carbines only it is 6.0 gr. of Unique and a Lyman 311008. Velocity is 1425 fps and it's fairly accurate too. The bolt dragging across the cartridges in the magazine seemed to cause the feeding problems. I found that as the magazine empties, putting less upward pressure on the remaining cartridges, that it fed better.

The biggest waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn't care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions.
There are people who, for all the evidence presented to them, do not have the ability to understand.

Thanks! I'll try it single shot and and see what happens.
