    DAA 550 Mini Case Feeder

I was wondering if anyone has a DAA Mini Case Feeder for their Dillion 550 press . Does it work fine or a waste of money?

I was hoping someone would reply to this post.
I'm interested in buying this bullet feeder. It would really speed up loading 9mm.

In my personal opinion it will not make it much faster, so I decided not to get one for myself....if you want to reload faster, get a 750 with bullet and case feeder.

I just watched their video and not impressed looks like more trouble than I would want to mess with. I always inspect my cases as I put them in the 550.

Watched the video and wasn’t impressed. It’s a little deceptive since he isn’t adding bullets or visually checking cases. I’ve owned a 550 for 30 years. ANY speed gain added by the cases feeding automatically, which is minuscule IMO, will be more than offset by the time required to load the feeder. You still have to use one hand to place the bullet and the brass can be placed in the shell holder at the same time. Using both hands simultaneously I usually have the brass in place faster than the bullet.

I’ve also had a 650 with a case feeder for 15 years so I’m using that as a benchmark for comparison. It only takes seconds to add a lot of cases to the Dillon case feeder.
