    No5 Mk1 handloads

I picked up some Speer 180 RN because the usual Hornady 174 were all gone,I was happy that they shoot very well out of my carbine, 1.25 inch three shot group at 75 yds.

    What load were you using?

The 2nd amendment was never intended to allow private citizens to 'keep and bear arms.' If it had, there would have been wording such as 'the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. -Ken Konecki, July 27, 1992

The Speer 180 load for my No5Mk1 is 47 grains of H4350 , this is one grain under max, as usual start low and work up.

I took out the jungle carbine today and tried it at 200 with the rear sight set at 200, I shot to point of aim on a football sized rock.
I heard the very satisfying "whack" on the rock, I walked down to the target to find it shot right where I was aiming at.
The 47 grains of H4350 under the Speer 180 grain RN puts the slugs right on with the sights, no deer were unlucky enough to step out tonight.
