RugerForum.com members: Has your account been suspended?

    To All RugerForum.com members,

I received a PM from a friend this morning stating his account had been suspended and asking if I had. I have. Are there others? Is this a site problem?

I don't see any reason why either of us should have issues there.
    The message says:

    Account Suspended
    This Account has been suspended.
Contact your hosting provider for more information.

Clicking on the "Contact your hosting provider" link opens an email to rugerforum.com

Are their any others out their?

Deleted my account, so I deleted the link to the site. Don't need them cluttering up my screen! Too old to play bee es games.

I confused .net with .com. The .com is down for me too.

There is more than one Rugerforum. For those of you that can log in, are you on .com or .net?
.net seems to be up. I am not a member there.
.com might be down because all I see there is a blank white screen.

So are you all on .net or .com if you can log in normally?

I was a member on .net, but have not logged in there for a long time. Now, when I try, I get a failure, but no message. Maybe they clean out us hangers on from time to time.

Several years a-go I was shut out because I was using the wrong password, according to them. I could never get any help from them and finally quit trying.

Just logged in on the .com, new look, no problems, now accepting new members, guess the new owners finally upgraded.

Folks,, it's finally happened,, the owners have given the old Ruger Forum dot COM a complete facelift & overhaul. It's taken tham a while,, with many folks being locked out due to the old server & issues with it,, and such.

NOW,, folks can rejoin,, and if you were a member before,, you should be able to log in under your old handle & password. PLUS,, now it appears NEW folks can register there too!

It's been a long time coming,, and a lot of us are relieved.

    This was posted on RugerForum.com:

We're finally updated to the latest version of our forum software. Our downtime was not caused by the upgrade. Quite the opposite. There was a major catastrophic event on the server that forced me to upgrade immediately, which is a good thing for the most part. However, in expediting, we may have a few unforeseen issues. If you see anything that needs my attention, let me know.

Also, with this version of the forum, a major shortcoming of the site should finally be addressed: new user registration and password resets. Hopefully we can put all of those concerns to rest now.

So now we know what happened!

I was able to get on Ruger.net for the first time since 2009. It remembered my user name and password. Great!

I gave up on the .net forum some time ago. Not enough traffic to maintain interest. Also, it seemed like every time I posted a comment, Idahoan took exception to it. I finally quit playing, and don't see it as a loss.
