    1905 Mauser bayonet fit on a 98 K rifle?

    Hello All,

    Would any of you know if a1905 Brazilian Mauser bayonet will fit correctly on a WW-2 German 98 K rifle ?

    I am not positive.
    But I don't think it will fit properly without some minor modification.
    I sold my Brazilian Mauser with bayonet.
    So I can't check for you.
    Woops.
    My Mauser was a 1908 Mauser.
    I think the 1905 uses a different lug design.
