Not with a cast bullet, but a nice 8pt.

7mm-08 154 SST. Mossberg 100 ATR youth model refurbished after my shop fire.
This 8pt was chasing a doe and didn't see me hiding in a stand. Shot him about 12:30.

Congrats on the deer ! I notice the dog is cautiously sniffing the deer in your pic, that’s just how my last dog was he wasn’t quite sure why I was handling the deer.

Nice buck! Your dog was just sniffing the deer, my dog was barking at my doe that I had hanging from a tree in my backyard.

    Shot at 12:30 PM
The dog is my friend Gary's and was used to blood trail it. There was only 2 drops of blood in the lane and she found both of them, then the deer.

    Congrats.

It is super cool when someone who does so much to support our hobby turns around and shows evidence of participating just like the rest of us.

    Again, congrats.
