NO EXPENSIVE FURNACE can compare with a LEE 4-20 'dripolater'

...when it comes to 'DRIP ART'...

I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU SPEND...whether it is PID controlled or you use your 6'th sense...none of these expensive furnaces can make drip art like a LEE 4-20. ...

Now you boys are certainly entitled to have your own opinion but if you disagree?

I'm not sure, it could go either way...I think the one in the middle is an Indian Chief.

You could probably sell them for a tidy profit at a local art show and put the money toward even more alloy. Just tell the hippydippies they are the result of an ancient Germanic divination ritual! Haha You wouldn’t be stretching the truth too much…

Hunter Biden would be proud to sell those, as his own of course.

Those look almost a cool as those things that guy on youtube makes by pouring Alum. into fire ant mounds.

I have made one of my 4-20's drip and form "artwork" to give to friends in the past. My pots normally do not leak because I maintain the valve and seat, but you can get some really artsy stuff from the little nozzle!

I sprayed them with clear lacquer to prevent any Pb contamination.

    thanks for posting.

Now I'm going to have to pull the nail out of my old Lee pot, so it can drip again. Maybe you can make them into trophys, to give to the winners at your next cast bullet shoot

Mine looked like that fat slug in star wars - not much interest in the art world.

I agree - seal that with some spray laquer and put 'em on the market - I saw stuff that looked a lot worse going for good money in some of those new age hippie shops in Flagstaff and Sedona.

I could never get good results from a bottom pour pot. I usually take out the valve assembly and drill and tap for a 10-32 bolt or something similar. Both my Lyman pots are set up that way. Haven't used my Lee pot yet but one of my friends lee pot did leak and he got one of a kind artwork. Frank

I had to put all mine back in the pot or I would have run out of lead.

Good way to use your zinc. Then there's no need to worry about lead contamination. Then sell them for ridiculous $$ and go buy more lead!

I have three Lee drip-o-matics maybe I could go into mass production. I have made a few of those but I have always stopped the process before they were finished. What was I thinking?
