Swaging to produce rim fire cases?

Has anyone heard of or given thought to swaging brass or copper rimfire cases for .38, .44 and Spencer type rim fire cases?
If that, what does not kills us, makes us stronger, why ain't I superman?

Its not a hard proposition. the issue is that there will be a lot of trimming to do.

youll have to punch a blank disk, form that up to outer rim diamter, then do a third die to size the case body down.

in the case of the 44 henry, it was first put into rimfire conversions fo the colt army, then it was turned into a center fire cartridge, then it was lenghened into the 44 colt, then given a better design and named the 45 long colt
Its all cost in equipment, and cost to get the correct brass.
