Does anyone have an idea how old these primers would be? I acquired them, second hand, at least 20 years ago. I got large and small rifle and pistol primer, about 1000 primers total. I've been using them without a failure yet. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I should add that these were carefully stored in a damp and moldy basement of a lake cabin before I acquired them. I am impressed that they still go 'bang'

When I started reloading on 1980 I used CCI. They were all silver as today so yours are older

Don’t see a zip code on address so probably made before 1963. I think Lewiston is where CCI started.

I think you're into the 60's with those. jd
It seems that people who do almost nothing, often complain loudly when it's time to do it.

I think mid to late 1960’s. Early 1960’s is when I think they switched from domed to flat.

No zip code on the address, listing that they're non-corrosive and non-mercuric
will put 'em as being made in the late 50's to early 60's.

    Guess. 3 203
    3 batch
    203 … 2= year1962, 03= March
Zip codes were invented in 1963, so these are before 1963

I started loading in the late '50's, and recognize the packaging from back then.

I’m guessing mid to late 50s, I received a bunch of those from my Grandpas estate and he stopped loading handguns in the 50s due to injury. Can’t imagine he bought any after his injury.

Similarly, I’ve a bunch of these and no issues as of yet.
