Thank you, Paul, and the same to you. While listening to the news this morning the thought came to me that I am thankful that the USA is the destination, not the origin of refugees. Probably 'cause I heard of the tragedy in the British Channel, smugglers moving refugees to England.

Yes! A fine American tradition!! I am smoking a Turkey though it is 15 deg. this morning. Got a Weber Smokey Mountain 18" on sale at Fleet Farm for $249. It is heated by regular briquettes . Basically like an outdoor oven. Threw in some chunks of applewood. Brined the Turkey overnight. And thank you Lord for family and friends and the bounty of your creation.
Likewise from me and mine. My wife is no longer able to cook, which is a shame in more ways than one. She did, however, order the makings of what should be a fine dinner, and will talk me through sequencing and cooking the stuff so we don't all starve to death this week.
