    WTS 1922 Springfield

$1,000.00 and freight. Mostly original with some modifications (Canjar trigger, boned stock) done in the very early 70's by a (now) well respected gunsmith who was working for a small gunshop in KCMO. PM with specific questions...

    M1922? Or M1922 M1 or M2?

1922MI with a 1927 bbl date that was converted/updated to the M2 configuration by discarding the original bolt and installing the M2 bolt which is not serial numbered to rifle. Original serial number not prefixed with a B nor was the second 'I' added to the first I. In 1970 this was not a collectible rifle per se so the mods enhanced the value. Gunsmith now has a reputation among shooters but I'm not sure if he is even among the living as I haven't spoken with him in 4 or 5 years...

Bolt is numbered to the receiver. Found the original trigger assembly. Guard was enlarged for the Canjar trigger and stock was boned are the only two real modifications from original. One magazine. Can send pictures to interested parties; try a private message with contact info..
