    Snake shot is very fine, usually like #11. You have to be very close to kill anything.

    Out here jack rabbits are tough critters. Skittish and fast.

    We found that shotshells in pistols were good out to about 10ft and best around 6ft. We used #9 for snakes.

    Well, I received my Guns of the West paper cartridge making kit today - the second time I had a package come early. I like it. The kit looks very simple and easy to use, just time consuming and there are some days when I have plenty of time to kill. Now to scratch up for that cartridge box and appropriate belt.
