Help with Winchester Western 9mm Win. Mag. cartridge cases

New to this Forum! Hoping someone can help me learn more about this cartridge case - it would seem they aren’t very common. I am trying to sell items that belonged to Ken Howell, the author of “Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges for Rifles and Handguns”. In his large collection are 10 boxes of Winchester Western 9mm Win Mag cartridge cases. They appear to be new. Is there a market for these? My limited research indicates that they were developed for the Wildey in the late 1970's? Thanks in advance - Mark

    MarkM:

This is what Starline Brass says about the 9mm Win Mag:

Basically a lengthened 9mm Luger, the 9mm Winchester Magnum was developed for use in the Wildey semi-automatic handgun. This cartridge develops near .357 Magnum performance but is generally used for making 9mm Luger blanks.

They make it, it's on backorder, like everything else in the world......If you need them, they're priceless, if you don't, they're not worth much. Starline's price is $208.50/1000, when they have it, if they have it.

FWIW, you'll require 30 "Meaningful" posts.
Posts such as "Me too" or "I've done that" or "That's cool", etc, don't count.
