Is it possible to fit a second cylinder in 45 LC to S&W 1917 45 ACP Brazilian contract piston ?Where would I look for a spare cylinder?

John Taylor did my M1917. Best is to find an N-frame cylinder for a Model 28 Highway Patrolman and have it line-bored, rechambered and fitted. Frame lug also needs to be replaced to permit cylinder to be set back to provide correct head clearance with .45 Colt. On mine he used a .44 Magnum cylinder from a Model 29. He left the cylinder full length so that case heads were recessed and barrel extension where it protrudes into frame window shortened so that I could load rounds up to 1.66" overall length, also having barrel butt well supported by the frame. Cylinder throats are .4525".
The ENEMY is listening.
HE wants to know what YOU know.
Keep it to yourself.
