    New 22LR Vudoo

I got my Vudoo in a couple weeks ago. Had a nice range day with it last weekend. Made some adjustments to scope location and stock.

Im more of an offhand shooter. I really despise shooting from a bench. I need to practice position shooting for NRL22.

This is way different than my normal range guns

Very fine looking rifle. I bet it handles well.
I understand if you don't want to do any bench tests. Unfortunately, bench testing is really the only way to wring that last bit of accuracy out of a rifle unless you are superhuman.
I would really like to see one set of groups from a bench to see what that rifle can do.

Too bad you are so far away. I would come down and bring some ammunition and shoot it for you just to see what it can do so you wouldn't have to. 600 miles is a bit far for a test.

So far not so much..... Im sure shooting at longer distances from odd positions will be fun.

The gun shoots pretty good for being new. It has 100rds through it. Grouping in the .3s @50yds with SK Red. It should get better after some break in and finding the ammo it likes. If it will shoot .2s @ 50yds i will be satisfied.

FWIW, I was told by a father/son with a pair of Vudoos that the rifles /barrel/chamber
are designed around Lapua Center X
I do know that the son, Brian has cleaned the 100yds Mini Palma matches at my club several times
450s with lots of X count

The chambers and firing pin are tuned to Lapua. Sk is made by Lapua. I use it for my Small bore sillhouette gun. I will buy some CenterX and Midas + after the barrel has been broken in.

That is one fine gun. I'm very new to precision .22. I have a lowly CZ455 Tacticool, but it's enough to get the bug. Sending those little slugs out at range is addictive! I'm using a Dead Air Mask can and shoot primarily SK Standard. Brownells go a shipment last week. $90 a brick.

I shot my son's Vudoo in a local match. Bench rest and rows of steel targets out to 300+ yards. It was pretty breezy and I was doing really well out to 200 yards when the wind finally got me. I had a fair number of hits the rest of the course. I had never shot the rifle before.

I was impressed with his rifle and scope (Athlon). He has a can on it but I don't recall the brand. The ammo was SK.

I really over spent on the scope but it really completes the shooting experience. Im starting to enjoy shooting it.
