I have had better luck in CBs for my 300BO with heavy bullets. The 311299 is a good fit.

I would start with your 2400 and the Nosler data for 110 grain jacketed. 14.0 grains start and 16.0 grains max.

Do not have any 2400 but do have some IMR 4227, H110 and Lilgun on hand

I use that bullet with single shot and bolt 300 BO. I load 3 grains of bullseye for ~1000 FPS. This is a plinking and quite varmint load that groups very well up to 50 yds. For the AR 15's is use the C312-155 bullet and have to load short at 1.996 or so because of no lead much in the AR's. With this load I use 296 at 15 to 16.5 grains of powder for function in these rifles. I love the 300 BO for its versatility, No it is not a 300 whizz bang but it does 95% of what I need a firearm for. I believe with the 90 grain SWC to have enough gas to operate an AR it will lead badly. Just my two centavos...

Dang it! Who had the 2400?

Well, here’s the link to the Nosler data. They list both 4227 and H110 loads.

ETA, I concur that if this is a plain base boolit you will have problems in a semi auto rifle.

About the only thing that will possibly work is CFE pistol and only with pistol gas. 1800 fps which is probably too fast for plain base. If 1:7 twist, that is another problem.
    Whatever!

Do have the Pistol Gas System and 1-9 twist. Could also put a plain base check on them.
