    CZ-52 38 Super, 9MM and 7.62x25

Fun day at the range this morning

I have been piecing together a CZ-52 pistol that
    has three barrels.

    They are 7.62x25mm, 9MM Luger, and 38 Super/9MM Largo.

So I started shooting with Lyman 311249 and 6.0 grains of Unique in the 7.62 no issues, hard cast
Cases were made from USGI 556 brass

Next was the 38 Super/9MM Largo, with 121 truncated cone cast
Lastly was 9MM Luger with 124 Long Round Nose cast.

All went quite well and all grouped quite close, what FUN!!

Glad it worked out for you....and can't think of any reason why it wouldn't. I've got all of these calibers, but in different makes of pistols. Two CZ-52s, and they are fun to shoot.

Brought back a CZ-52 from Germany in ‘91. Beautiful machine…..but the ammo….! Would actually shoot it if it were 9mm.

The CZ52 pistols are pretty good 100yd performers. My brother and I both owned one and thousands of rounds of Polish surplus ammo. I put an Allen screw on the slide release and dehorned the edges of the trigger face on mine. I also installed a standard 1911 rear sight and that helped the sight picture a lot. When we ran out of the cheap ammo, we both traded them off.

    I have 2 ROMANIAN Tt33s. And a 9x19 barrel. I wish I could get a 9x18 barrel.

I like those grips, old chap!
To the OP, I felt that the .38 Super would be a better fit in the magazine than the 9mm, but that's great if it works. I didnt know (or forgot) that .38 Super barrels were available for the CZ52.

I was studying a local gunsmith’s Model 52 CZ and noted that it would be more useful if it had a rail under the frame.

He gave me a funny look and grabbed a rear scope base for a 99 Savage. It lined up very close to level with the bore and the next time we met he had it installed and a laser mounted there.

He was very happy with my “outside of the box” thinking and how it enhanced his pistol.
