    Impatient with deep pockets?

That is who you will be bidding against for this beauty. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/915685381
Don't care for those grips though. Reckon this will bring four grand.

I don't think it will go that high, but still a pretty gun.

That's kind of like a bull a neighboring farmer bought one time . . paid so much for the bull at the livestock auction barn that he couldn't afford to feed it when he got it home.

That is a beautiful pistol . . . . will be interesting to see if someone coughs up the cash to take her home.

No ... Lots of Patience ... but I suffer from that Hawaiian Malady ... Lackamoney !

I never win the bidding wars .
My recently aquired $199 Ruger Wrangler suits me just fine ...no bidding either !

It is a nice six-shooter ... I don't have any desire to shoot a 500 anything handgun ... but I would be interested in how much it goes for .
I wonder if the grips are bone or ivory .

No you didn’t read that correctly, the auction ended as at $ 4200 it didn’t even make the reserve. It did not sell

Is that really how much Bowen's charges? I'm fairly sure when I last checked, Gary Reeder could convert a Redhawk to a 50 caliber for under $2000.

I'm not trying to pic nits but it looks like the crane assembly doesn't completely lock up with the frame in the pic of the front of the cylinder. Naybe it's just me , but for $4200 I would not want to see a gap like that. If that is the way it is suppose to look, please correct me.

That's how a lot of Ruger's look, not much that can be done about it. I agree with you though, no way I'm paying that much (reserve not even met), for a converted factory revolver. Freedom Arm's are cheaper than that. I prefer double actions myself, but that still doesn't justify double the price.

Definitely not my cup of tea and assuredly not for over $4200.00. As mega mentioned, Freedom Arms are a lot less money. I have one and love it but, single actions are my choice.

I don't mean to bash Reeder or his work, he surely knows how much his talents are worth as long as people will pony up the money. If someone just has to have a wheel gun with a 1/2" hole in the barrel, Smith and Wesson makes one that cost a lot less than the one listed.

I don't see the value in it. And it seems a lot of others feel the same way as it did not meet the reserve.

It's neither purty or a Purdy. Not my cup of tea.
