We don't take any calls of this nature. The old adage "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't" applies here. The scammers are very active now and whether it is true or not, if it smells a little fishy, I'd beware.

I have never subscribed to any magazine. When I told the caller, that he said he still had my name and number. I don't doubt that.

I got that one and kept the guy on line for about 15 min without giving him any info. I figure if they are going to waste my time I'll waste some of theirs and help keep him off some other folks back for a while. Also it's kind of fun messing with them a bit.
Anyhoo,If you like shiny magazines,ask for trade mags.....I used to get dozens of the trade mags when I had the shop.....and most of them were a lot better than what you pay for......do you know there is a monthly magazine about Corrosion?..and obviously heaps about metal machining and manufacturing.
I used to get deluged with calls for extended warrantees for vehicles. Saying no did not slow it down, so I turned the tables.
I told them it was a 73 International truck and a 91 Buick and they never called again! It was better than a thousand “no” answers!

I used to play online a lot and finally I won one day, $11. This is the first time I've heard of them calling someone on the phone. I would have hung up. Matter of fact, if I don't recognize the incoming number I dismiss the call.
I ask them what they're wearing, and what to use to get blood stains off my walls...
