I was on another forum and was told they were in stock . I’m flush with 209’s but I ordered 5,000 more . Keep them dry and they certainly won’t go bad . Just wish all the Chedditte’s I have were Winchesters lols !

I think I’m going to come into a several eight pounders of powder in the next week or so . If the deal works out the only thing I’ll need for the next several years will be shot and perhaps a case or two of 12 and 20 gauge CB wads . Wads wise I’m in great shape for the 8’s the 10’s the 16’s the 28’s and 410’s . And to be honest I’ve got a good supply of 12 and 20 wads I just seem to go thru them quicker .

    Just wanted to say

    A) thanks for the heads up.

    B) 24 hours later, they still are listed as in stock!

I am down to my last few hundred Winchesters, so its going to be time to switch over for the next couple years until the shortages pass.

You do what you’re comfortable with but I use CCI , WIN , REM and Cheddite intermittently. I’ve even let some Federal 209A’s in the mix with no problems . FWIW I’ve even used CCI 209M’s in a pinch although they were initially purchased for Knight ML’s .

They don’t expand the primer pockets enough to make them loose with the others if that’s what you’re asking .

Got plenty of primers. Only got a couple 1000’s of fed 209A’s. If y’all see this for sale, post it up.

I have a bunch of nice looking once fired Federal 12 ga empties I would like to be able to load up. My batch of Winchester 209 primers are loose in the shells when I have tried to use them. Does Federal use a different size?

You can get a tool from BPI that you can recondition the primer pocket on hulls. I got one and takes care of all the ones that give me problems. Here is the link of what I am talking about , but see they are now out of stock https://www.ballisticproducts.com/Un...tinfo/0740010/
