WTS: Winchester Model 1892 in caliber 38 W.C.F. Mfg 1894
I would rather not part with this rifle, but up for sale is my Winchester Model 1892 that was manufactured in 1894. The caliber is 38-40 (38 W.C.F.) I would say it is in very good condition. The wood is solid with very few dents and dings (no cracks) and there is no rust on the metal. Mechanically it operates and shoots fine. The action works perfectly, cartridges load, chamber, shoot, and eject as they should. Metal has a mostly brown and gray patina with the lever and tube still showing 90% bluing. The bore has strong rifling with some pitting or copper fouling.
The price is $1400.00 plus actual shipping charges and insurance. Payment by U.S. POSTAL M.O. Only. Shipment is by USPS Priority Mail to a Type 1 FFL. And Your FFL must accept a shipment from a non-FFL individual. I will need a copy of the FFL license emailed to me. Ships to address on FFL. Will ship only where it is legal, check your state and local laws.
