New Miroku 1886 Hammer Strut Orientation

Can anyone tell me if I have the mainspring installed correctly on my new rifle? There is a good video online I was following, but my lower tang screw (under the lever) retains the strut support with the hammer strut & coil spring in tension on the lower tang. It is not a wood screw as the video says. Mine went flying everywhere of course. No harm done but I did not see the hammer strut orientation in the explosion of small parts. Of course the video seems to show a different shaped strut, maybe because this is a newer gun or a deluxe model, IDK. I got the strut back under tension and installed, but the hammer is hard to pull back and very rough. The numerich parts diagram shows what looks like a mirror image of my hammer strut. Could someone tell me how its supposed to go?

Just the other day I watched a video on deactivating the rebound hammer function and while I am NOT sure, I think that is upside down and the hammer rebound is on the bottom. Take a gander at the deactivation videos and there is a thread on here as well with lots of images about that I saw about a month ago.

Yessir, I just came in from getting it all back together, it was upside-down. Thanks for your response. I will check out those videos.

    .

For others here, the shorter forward MS strut fork is the bottom/rebound fork; the upper/longer MS strut fork drives the hammer when firing.
